Per Leander MSc Phys Eng 30 years railway
Per is the founder and general manager of Transrail.
He started his railway career at ASEA Traction (Bombardier Sweden) on rolling stock, traction and systems development. Per later became manager of the electrical engineering office, and was project engineer and technical coordinator for ASEA's first total rail contract, the Istanbul LRTS.
Per joined SJ technical division as manager of the engineering unit, responsible for acquisition and refurbishment of all types and rolling stock as well as giving support to the maintenance workshops of SJ. During this period Per carried out extensive activities on international technical cooperation and standardisation as well as top-level projects within SJ.
Within Transrail, Per has of course been involved in most of the work of the company.
Mario Lagos MSc Applied Mathematics 20 years
railway experience, 25 in IT
One of the founders and owners of Transrail. Specialities: IT and
mathematical modelling in railways and transportation. He has developed
many calculation programs: technical vehicles aspects, resource
management, transportation planning and vehicle maintenance. He worked at
ABB Corporate Research, ABB Traction, ABB Atom and SJ before joining
Lennart Kloow MSc Mech Eng 25 years railway
Managed the test lab at SJ for ten years, testing railway vehicles in
Sweden and globally. Also responsible for wheel wear and running dynamic
issues as well as pantographs. He is certified in railway safety, was
internal business coach at SJ and is experienced as project manager.
Simon Rydberg MSc Comp Science, MSc Comp
Technology Railway/IT experience since 2000
Simon's specialities are all the parts of the system development. Design,
programming and testing. He has continually worked with the firm since the year
his studies and performed his degree project here.
Esbjörn Eriksson MSc Systems Analysis 10+
experience, 10 in IT
Esbjörn has extensive experience from both IT and railway companies.
At Adtranz (now: Bombardier) he worked as system coordinator, document and
for the TMS (Traffic Management System) platform EBICOS 900.
Consultant in information and document management at Excosoft AB, before
returning to the railway
in terms of railway construction and contracting, as engineer and project
manager at Carillion Rail Sverige AB.
Lars-Erik Maarup Electrical Engineer
25 years of experience from the rail industry
Lars have over the years been commissioning and servicing rail vehicles, mainly outside Sweden.
His product and functional knowledge is the base, for the project management and maintenance skills developed.
Lars has been holding various management positions, related to operation and maintenance.
Anna-Carin Betzén MSc Computer Science and Engineering
IT experience since 1997
Anna-Carin works with system development and web development. She has a particular interest in user interface and usability issues. Earlier, she worked at Saab Systems (previously CelsiusTech Systems) with user support, system development, and CM support.
Andreas Törnblom MSc Mechanical Engineering
Environmental Engineering experience since 2002
Andreas has been working as an entrepreneur with business development in the environmental field. Since 2002 he has been involved in trade of energy saving products between China and the EU, and has also worked as a project manager supervising the launch of a Taiwanese plastics recycling company on the American market. In 2006 he successfully set up a recycling plant in Tulare, California.
Magnus Åhlander MSc Engineering Physics, MSc Computer Science
IT experience since 1999
Magnus has been working with system development since 1999, in areas like telecom, insurance, banking, defense and energy, mainly with Java technology. As a system developer he tries to deliver well-tested, high-quality solutions. He is also interested in methodology and behaviour-driven development.
Tomas Lidén MSc Mechanical engineering
Railway experience since 1990, IT since 1986
Tomas has worked at ÅF-Industriteknik, ADTranz Signal and Carmen Systems/Jeppesen with train traffic simulation, capacity studies, interlocking systems, decision support, planning systems and algorithmic SW development - mainly for the railway sector but also for aviation and other transportation modes. He's worked in the role of senior consultant, developer, maintenance responsible, system coordinator, first line manager, process analyst and sub-project manager. Tomas has extensive knowledge about the empty freight car distribution system at Green Cargo, and optimization algorithms for railway rolling stock circulation planning.
Peter Jonsson Msc Mech Eng
7 years railway experience, 9 years in project management, 5 years in system data analysis
Project manager with experience in electronics manufacturing, rolling stock and industrial scale climate control. Long experience in advanced fault-tracing through system data analysis. Designated maintenance engineer for X2000. Procurement of freight transportation systems.
Hans has been working as systems developer within IT solutions at Transrail since january 2011.
He studied at the Departement of Computer and System Sciences from 2000 to 2004.
Since then he has been working as a java developer within the businesses e-learning and PKI.
Hans works with the whole chain in a system, from the database, via the business layer up to the GUI, webb- or application-based.
Eric works since 2011 as a system developer within IT solutions at Transrail. His area of knowledge stretches from
design and implementation of desktop applications as well as web applications to running operations of systems and
servers in both Windows and Linux environments. Eric has experience from both the Java platform as well as the
Microsoft .NET platform.
Li is an ambitious IT worker with well-rounded skills both in programming like Java,
C#/C++/C and practical database operation skills with computer-science master degree. She is seen
by her colleagues as smart, fast learner, and an energetic person that works hard. Works independently
and in team, takes great responsibility and is extremely organized. As a person she is very positive,
easy-going and professional.
Li was born in China, have worked in China, Japan and now lives and works in Sweden.
Dan studied to a Masters Degree in Computer Science at Mälardalen University in 2012, having a special
interest in artificial intelligence and innovation science. Worked with system development in various
languages since 1999.
Matias Rauma PhD Engineering, MSc Electrical Engineering
Railway experience: 2000-2002 and since 2012
Matias works with system development within IT solutions. In 2000-2002 he developed
Trains Scheduling, a computer system for scheduling and management of railway traffic, rolling stock
fleet and train crews. He has previously worked as a researcher within medical technology and
mathematical modeling at Karolinska Institutet.
Pablo Lozan-Villegas Ph. Lic.
30 years R&D in automation
He started his professional career at ASEA Research and Innovation (ABB Corporate Research, Sweden) on knowledge based and expert systems development.
Thereafter Pablo continued with R&D work in different technology areas in the global automation laboratory at ABB Corporate Research.
He was involved in the development of key-technologies for several ABB systems and products.
The emphasis of his work has been related to software and the last 15 years in the research area of robotics and mobile robot technologies.
He had roles as developer, scientist, principal scientist, project leader, group manager and technology manager for mobile and field robots.
Pablo is also member of the expert board of the European Commission Unit E5 - Cognitive Systems, Interaction-Robotics.
Currently he is responsible for R&D and product management at Transrail.
