 High-speed train operation in winter climate
A study on winter problems as regards high-speed passenger train services in the Nordic countries. The study was carried out as part of the BV research project "The green train". The main purpose of the study has been to complie primarily Scandinavian knowledge and experiences.

Computer Aided Train Operation, a R&D project financed by clients and Transrail, is intended to optimise train driving, thus reducing operational costs and enhancing line capacity. System design of the Eskisehir Tramway in Turkey including integration with other transport services, routes, system performance, safety aspects, normal and disrupted traffic. It provided high-level system design requirements and support for the municipality approval of design parameters.
 Analysis of a new intermodal transport system for Rail Combi
Rail Combi (CargoNet), the main intermodal railway operator in Sweden, wanted to make a major change of their rail production scheme. Transrail analysed the planned train and wagon circulation, impacts on the wagon fleet and kilometre performance. Successfully solved using Transrail's TSDA tool with new software routines to minimise wagon empty runs.
 Project management and system integration of a new signalling system
Management of the signalling aspect of the renewal of Line 2 of the Bucharest Metro. The work included delivery of a traffic control center, the driver cab displays, and the trackside equipment.
